As an adult learner with zero previous musical experience, I was somewhat apprehensive heading into my first lesson, however any fear was quickly set aside once meeting Jay.

Jay has been a wonderful guitar teacher for the past 2 years I have been taking lessons with him. I had been playing electric guitar for about 6-7 years before taking lessons with Jay and was largely self taught with minimal understanding of theory. Since taking lessons with Jay I had learnt how to read sheet music within a couple of months and had greatly expanded upon my understanding of the instrument. I look forward to each lesson each week as John has a great sense of humour and is very understanding of what a student requires to progress. I highly recommend Jay as a Guitar Teacher.
